CALL FOR ABSTRACT
The ABTCel-Gen invites the submission of abstracts that report new research developments.
Submission Requirements
Please review and gather all information before starting the submission process using the Online Abstract Submission System. Below are the requirements and information you will need to submit your abstract:
GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS IN PREPARING ABSTRACTS (CONTENT AND FORMATTING)
- Registration for the meeting is a requirement for abstract submission.
- All abstracts must be written in English.
- The title should be in capitals. Titles are limited to 250 characters, including spaces. Use a short, specific title. Abstract title should be formatted in sentence case.
- Each abstract may indicate only one presenter. The presenter should be the First Author.
Every author should be listed with initials (with punctuation) and last name. If the presenting/corresponding author is to be identified, indicate this author with an asterisk.
Author affiliations: Number each affiliation and list them in sentence case for every author. If an author has multiple affiliations, indicate the numbers for each.
- The abstract should be structured in paragraphs as follows: introduction; objective; methods, results and conclusions. Abstracts are limited to 3000 characters, including punctuation and space characters (excluding title, authors and affiliations).
Abstract text: If headings are appropriate, format headings (with the colon) in boldface. If any abstracts include references, cite them by number in brackets before the sentence punctuation (e.g., [1].). Do not superscript reference numbers.
- Use standard abbreviations for units of measure; other abbreviations should be spelled out in full at first mention, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
- Do not include tables, charts, or other figures.
- Be sure to proofread your work carefully before submitting. It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract; any errors in spelling, grammar, or scientific fact will be published as typed by the author.
- Each oral or poster abstract must be submitted in the most appropriate scientific category. These are the topics in which the abstracts are reviewed. The planning committee reserves the right to reassign abstracts if necessary. The abstract submission topics are:
- Cell therapy and extracellular vesicles - basic research
- Cell therapy and extracellular vesicles - pre-clinical research
- Cell therapy and extracellular vesicles - clinical studies
- Tissue engineering
- Gene Therapy basic research
- Gene Therapy pre-clinical studies
- Gene Therapy clinical studies
- All accepted abstracts will be published in a special online Abstract Supplement in Cytotherapy, the Official Journal of ISCT
The author is free to include her or his latest data in the final poster presented at the meeting, but the results included in the original abstract must substantially reflect the body of results to be presented.
